We are proud to present “When Light Changes” by Berlin based photographer Daniela Finke. The show will feature works from her popular series “Polo on Snow” and works from the NEW collection “Waking Night”.

Finke has over the years found a unique way of expressing her artistic vision by combining excellent photography with digital imaging. Like Edward Hopper her work has a melancholic feeling to it where people are as statues in a hypothermic atmosphere.

The show in Copenhagen combines the two series “Waking Night” and “Polo on Snow” because of the special and almost monochromatic lighting in both of them. Finke captures every day situations like a quiet night scene, impressive cities or battles between polo players on a snow covered field. She transforms these snapshots into beautiful abstract patterns with the use of soft lines and intensified colour.
